General Statement on EUWA Safety Information

The EUWA Safety Information in this section consists of guide-lines and instructions developed by qualified and well experienced engineers belonging to the main European wheel manufacturers, discussed and approved by the EUWA Technical Commission and ratified by the EUWA General Assembly.

These Safety and Service Instructions are on the one hand based on the knowledge and experience of EUWA members and on the other hand they are harmonised with the relevant International standards, particularly with the standard ISO 14400 “Road Vehicles – Wheels and Rims – Use, general maintenance and safety requirements and out-of-service conditions”.

The goal of EUWA is to provide through these Safety and Service Instructions the necessary information for a proper and safe use of EUWA member’s products. With these documents, EUWA intends to comply with the requirements of the directive 2001/95/EC “General Product Safety” concerning the information of consumers and product users.


Hinweise zu den EUWA Sicherheitsempfehlungen

Die Richtlinien und Anweisungen der EUWA Sicherheitsempfehlungen dieses Abschnitts wurden von fähigen und erfahrenen Fachleuten der EUWA-Mitglieder verfasst, von der Technischen Kommission der EUWA genehmigt und von der EUWA Hauptversammlung ratifiziert.


Position de l’EUWA concernant la Sécurité

Les lignes guides et les instructions de sécurité de l’ EUWA dans ce chapitre ont été développées par des ingénieurs qualifiés et expérimentés travaillant pour les plus importants fabricants européens de roue. Ces instructions ont été discutées et approuvées par la Commission Technique de l’ EUWA et ratifiées par l’ Assemblée Générale de l’ EUWA.

Le informazioni di sicurezza EUWA contenute in questa sezione costituiscono direttive e istruzioni sviluppate da tecnici qualificati e di notevole esperienza, appartenenti ai più importanti costruttori europei di ruote, discusse e approvate dalla commissione Tecnica EUWA, poi ratificati dalla Assemblea Generale
